POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

Flagger: Working at positions along the course, directing runners through the course & cheering them on runners as they run by. Excellent opportunity for volunteer hours.  Various times available, including very early morning.

Course Marshals: This role is one of the most important roles along the course. Working at positions along the course, ensuring that the course is clear for runners. Cheering on runners as they run by. Excellent opportunity for volunteer hours.  Various times available, including very early morning.

Water stations: Providing water to runners along the course.

Lead and Sweep Cyclist: We require a lead cyclist for each race and 2 sweep cyclists for each race. Please note, if you would like to be a cyclist you must be able to bike the entire course. Lead cyclists are expected to stay in front of the first runner in each race.

Package Pick-up:

OTHER roles include:

Athletes Village Set-Up: Help set up the in the athletes village inside the Curling Club. set up tables and chairs in the beer gardens and other general set-up for the race. May require heavy lifting.

Athlete Food: Preparing the food for the athletes to eat following the race. Located inside the Curling Club.

Clean-up Crew: Responsible for venue tear down (inside the Curling Club) after the event, as well as assisting with finish line tear down.

Finish Line: Assisting with the set-up of the finish line gantry and cheering on athletes as they complete the race.
